My current knit project (in progress) is the lace tank top Soleil from knitty.com. It is my first attempt at lace knitting, and I like it so far.
I'm hoping that when it is finished, it will go nicely with the tourmaline and yellow citrine necklace I made this weekend.

Lace knitting is a lot of fun. It's frustrating to back out, though, so I always take it nice and slow so I don't make any mistakes the first time. At least, that's how I approach it now!
Sad that Beads 'n' Things in Seal Beach closed.
la - that's where I took some classes to learn basic beading and wire work - they were always nice and helpful, and now I don't know where to go just to pick up some supplies quickly . . .
diane - based on where you live, I'd suggest heading to Gotsie's in Huntington. She's just off PCH on 5th, right across from the police station which is in a big brown Craftsman house.
