A rose by any other name . . .

My garden continues to revive itself. This is a "Memorial Day" rose, and has the most amazing, and strong, scent.

What's cool is the contrast of the geometric straight lines of the shadows and stone in the background to the pink and gracious curves of the rose.

Thanks to you both! la - I'd like to take a photography class through a local JC or through Parks and Rec, and try to learn more about proper photography techniques, but until I do, even a blind squirrel finds a nut some times.

Very pretty, Diane. I guess your garden is in bloom year round?

mishy - some flowers do - the weather here is mild enough that the roses stay in bloom pretty much all year, but I will prune them all in January.
