The big man did it! The winner of the Mirror Ball trophy for Dancing with the Stars is the Big Easy, Emmitt Smith!

Now I must repeat 100 times, "I will not watch any more reality tv, I will not watch any more reality tv . . ."

I don't have enough time to live in my own reality, but I don't watch much TV (I keep up with TV trends via V's blog).

Wow, thank God Mario Lopez didn't win!
He bothers me for some reason.
I have not watched this show, but I totally feel you on, "I will not watch any more reality tv, I will not watch any more reality tv . . ."

BTW, I thought Mario Lopez was a pretty sore loser. No class.

Mario was more gracious than his partner Karina! So rarely do the teams, people, politicians, that I support win, I'm happy to be on the winning side for a change. First the elections, now DWTS . . . where will my wave of success crash?

Emmitt deserved it. And I was right, Mario was smarmy and a sore loser and his stupid little dance partner was annoying. I guess its back to SBTB as Mario's biggest claim to fame! haha

As much as I hate to see a Dallas Cowboy succeed, I'm glad an athlete won over a former teen idol. Though I read in reports that Lopez was actually a pretty good dancer. Anyway, for those interested New Yorker's dance critic wrote a piece in Slate about the show, I found it rather interesting.
