When I went swimming yesterday, there were some Bottlenose Dolphins slowly meandering along the coast.

<----this photo, however, was taken in Belize in March 2006, when I took my niece to Belize to particpate in some Bottlenose Dolphin research on Blackbird Caye.

I'm off for a swim, and hope the Dolphins come back again . . .

having grown up on the coast, I've seem what we call porpoises up close many times--but never when I was in the water swimming. I hope you saw some of them today.

Cool. I hope it was cooler at the beach than it was inland. And I don't live where it's really hot and humid.

I'm thinking the fog bank was a good thing considering we've been baking. Did it cool things off, and if so, why didn't it roll in 3 miles north? Today was a scorcher!

Wow, I must move the beach. I've never seen a dolphin, but they look so peaceful. Sounds like a great day, Diane!
