Hanna is feeling much better, and here she is this morning enjoying a peanut butter bone before the cone of silence must go back on . . .
Unfortunately, the results of her tumor biopsy were very bad. It was a mast cell tumor, grade III - the most virulent type. We have an appointment on Monday with the doggie oncologist to talk about our options. The best case scenario is that it has not metastasized, and no additional treatment will be necessary for now, but we'll check her lymph nodes regularly. If it has spread, then we'll have to make some tough decisions on treatment.
Poor Hanna . . .

I'm so sorry that the path report was bad. Hopefully the cancer hasn't metastasized. Poor baby.

Aw Hannah. At least she doesn't know, that's kind of a blessing. And in the meantime, it seems like peanut butter bones are a good way to handle the situation! Thinking of you guys....
